Fear of Missing Out

Your scrolling through your feed and someone just launched a side project. Another landed a top internship and now suddenly you feel behind and the air around you gets dense, you feel anxious. That's FOMO and it hits hard because deep down you know you are more capable.

FOMO can either break you or make you. It all depends on how you handle it.

Most people react by comparing, overthinking, and spiraling into doubt. They jump trends, copy others, chase what's "working" without asking if it even aligns with their own goals. That's FOMO controlling you.

If you let FOMO control you instead of making an impact you will just end up burning yourself. Burnout. if you use it wisely as a reminder everytime you caught yourself lacking Fomo can be your all-nighter fuel.

That kind of FOMO is powerful.

The key is to stop letting external wins define your pace.Let someone else's success remind you of your own unfinished potential. Build. Learn. Create. Move. Repeat.

FOMO isn't something to avoid. It's something to manage. It's just pressure but when handled right, creates growth.
